New national team kit

The Home kit draws inspiration from Australia’s iconic 2006 kit and Nike’s legendary Total 90 era. Traditional yellow and green are reenergised through modern execution, including gradient green shorts that add movement and depth.

The Away kit is inspired by Australian sunrises, representing the forward momentum of taking football in Australia into the future, featuring a coral and dark green gradient, while a lenticular federation crest introduces dimensional movement.


Wish someone would call Nike out for this shite. They're so bad compared to Adidas and Puma who give unique design a go while Nike just does their templates.

They must have gotten early release copies of the new kit when the Socceroos were stateside in the November international window and subsequently taken the pictures with Metcalfe, Degenek and Balard modelling the home strip before keeping them under wraps until now.

Home kit nice, away kit - like you said, need to see in person. Are they in shop already? Might go to rebel and check out.

Will definitely get the home (not sure whether to do Circati, or my own name on it) - will do the away if we have a successful tournament

But yes, that promo is a crock of shit - the only thing that’s unique to us is the colours. To be fair though, this year Nike does seem to be giving every nation the same template - I haven’t seen anything really bespoke yet. Closest would probably be the US

If Alessandro Circati is your favourite player then by all means get a Circati home jersey, or alternatively have one with Circati and another with your own name on it if you're planning on buying both home and away kits.

Yeah, not sure what to do just yet. I'm trying to have a different Socceroo on any jersey I get (or Matildas in those cases - with a Raso and Kerr one), but trying not to do more than one each player. Just no one catches me in the current squad at the moment, and generally just do my own name in that case (as I did when I initially got my 2022 jersey). Same with Italy, no one catches me in the current squad, so if I get that, (and only will do that if they qualify this week) I will get my own name on that one. Unless I get Volpato on the Italian shirt for a laugh after this weekend's revelations?! hahahaa

Must have been the USA game camp where they did the kit photo shoot as that's where all the players involved were present. Bos was in the November squad. Unless they were all over during Christmas?

Dhgate sale has begun so I'll get some samples.
 
Could've been worse I guess but what kind of imprint motif could we even do like Japan or England have?

Some kits just look too busy. The recent Jamaica one got numerous aspects perfect. I just wish we could see numerous examples of our kit to see what could be possible.
 
The shirt is so bad it makes my head itch, either that or I have nits again.
 
While Nike obviously throws these designs at us, ultimately the process goes back and forth between supplier and governing body and the final decision comes down to the governing body.

I thought more would be made of the away kit in terms of a story behind it. Initially I had thought it might be Uluru inspired but nothing has been mentioned so far.

Another thing not really mentioned anywhere is the iridescent badge on the away shirt. A nice touch.
