Read a couple of articles FIFA in hhhmmmm sorts panic mode as WC cancel tickets are huge apparently over 20k in one day, with nowhere near the normal demand at this point out from the WC.

We withdrew and are not going now with my French surname etc.

Trump's policies may highly impact how the WC is viewed in the US.

Not only the policies but the sport itself..... If the US continues with this anti rest of the world sentiment, the popularity of foreign sport like soccer can only suffer.

I read somewhere that that these werent actually cancellations but rather, people that withdrew from registration for the next lot of allocations... either way, the number of people visiting the US for tourism has declined this year, can only get worse as the world becomes more unstable... This could be a real punch in the face for US soccer.

TBH as much as I luv the game as we all do be it Trump or previous numpty there the place is in its own mosh pit soup of hurt/arrogance/ignorance for decades and as the world keeps shrinking and infighting I'm actually glad to see people are backing out and hopefully a BIG slap in the face to FIFA/Infantino especially the greedy fuck.
Yes I'm sorry for the participating NT's but its not just about Trump actions its FIFA's as well talking WC.

Not that I'm doubting you but do you have a source? Just want to see what's being said
 
They're going to have a winter break mid season as the northern US clubs like Portland, the two New Yorks etc and Canadian clubs like Toronto FC get heavy snowfall and well below zero temperatures during winter and would face the problem of frozen pitches etc.

Ground availability will also be an issue as most MLS clubs share grounds with NFL, UFL (the new American football competition) & CFL franchises.
