weird story:
I was in colorado with a brittish friend the night brexit happened

I didn't have strong opinions about brexit because i'm not brittish but he was pretty devastated, so we took him to a pub and cheered him up singing patriotic brittish songs (none of us were brittish but him)

some americans overheard and got visibly angry and surrounded us chanting "usa! usa! usa!"
