Sam Kerr coulda had a hat-trick in the Chelsea game but the ref ruled two of her goals out.

Häcken played 4-4-1-1 for some reason while Malmö went with their usual 4-2-3-1 formation. Surprised they trusted Aivi Luik in such a massive game.

The Sofascore ratings for this match haven’t been released yet but Amy Sayer is quite a creative midfielder so they probably shoulda started her in a game like this where they needed a goal. I’ve noticed that Amy plays a lot deeper for Malmö than she does for the Matildas. Perhaps against Mexico that’s something we could experiment with. That’s one of the great things about her though, she can play in different positions and still play well and even score!

Courtney Nevin would’ve probably boosted the back line too, hopefully she gets to be a consistent starter. Vesna Milivojević hasn’t played since the opener against newly-promoted Uppsala. Obviously I feel for her because she’s a good player who should’ve been picked for the Tillies but there’s definitely some schadenfreude since she opted for Serbia after not getting picked.

Hana Lowry on the bench for Valerenga in their Norwegian Women's Cup second round game against Hamarkameratene, possibly in line to make her club debut.
