Matilda's abroad

Annalise Rasmussen not in the matchday squad altogether for Juventus in their UWCL knockout phase play-off second leg game against Wolfsburg.
I just wanna know what’s going on with her. I feel it’s unfair on her as she isn’t getting game time or paid when she could be if she was loaned elsewhere, and it’s not fair on Mariners who lost a key player midseason.

Just a heads up for those who care, Matildas Abroad: Continental Edition for this week will be combined into the normal Matildas Abroad article since A. only a few players played and B. I've been busy help code the Aussies Abroad page.

Sadly we may never know what's happening with Annalise Rasmussen for the foreseeable future as the Juventus head coach hasn't given any updates on her yet and she still hasn't been registered on the playing list, nor as part of the reserves.

Nuremberg up 3–0 in the 36th minute over Carl Zeiss Jena! CZJ are dead last but 3–0 and still more than an entire half to go is a good win for Nuremberg who'll need the three points.

Leia Varley’s on the bench, hopefully we’ll see her come on. I wanna see her starting and playing well at Nuremberg so she can be in the Matildas squad discussion, even if she’s only a fringe player.

Nurnberg 4-0 up at the half and we would expect Leia Varley to be getting game time for them today.

Dani Galić starting for Vittsjö who are down 1–0 to Växjö at home. Hope she scores a hat-trick just to send the Matildas staff a message that she's good enough.

Amy Sayer played the full 90 minutes for Malmö in their 4–1 away Svenska Cupen win over Umeå, scoring in the 53rd minute to net her first competitive goal for the club! Courtney Nevin started but came off as a sub.

Amy Sayer scoring in the 53rd minute in addition to playing the entirety of Malmo's 4-1 Svenska Cupen group C win over Umea. Courtney Nevin started and played 73 minutes for Malmo before being subbed off.

Dani Galić played the full 90 minutes for Vittsjö. They drew 2–2 at home with Växjö. Still waiting for her first goal of 2026 but I’m sure it’ll come soon!

No game time for Teagan Micah, who was not in the matchday squad altogether for OL Lyonnes in their 6-2 Premiere Ligue win over Olympique de Marseille as she was ruled out with concussion.

No game time for Kyah Simon, who was not in the matchday squad altogether for Dijon in their scoreless Premiere Ligue draw with Fleury.
I feel like this is gonna be her last season playing football. She’s only sometimes even in the squad and prior to going to Dijon she spent two years hardly playing at Mariners and Sydney.
