I won't be surprised if Charli Grant ends up getting delisted by Spurs at season's end or requests a transfer in the January transfer window but to be fair she is still a regular starter for the Matildas and would likely be a shout to make the 23-player squad for the Asian Cup come February.

I don't doubt that she'll make the squad.

She's probably my favourite footballer so I hope she just starts getting consistent minutes and starting at Spurs but I sadly can't see it happening. For some reason she's being held back by the fear of not letting go of 32-year-old veteran Ash Neville (despite her never having played international football) and Josefine Rybrink who is a mixed bag.
 
Clare Wheeler starts for Everton as captain in their WSL game against Manchester City. Mary Fowler still undergoing ACL rehabilitation and not in the matchday squad altogether for Man City.

No game time for Charli Grant today unfortunately as she was an unused substitute for Spurs in their 4-2 loss away to London City Lionesses.
 
Mackenzie Arnold played the entirety of Portland Thorns' 1-0 NWSL quarterfinal win after extra time over San Diego Wave in goal, possibly sustaining an injury. Kaitlyn Torpey played 61 minutes before being subbed off, getting a yellow card in the 44th minute.

Martin Ho just took full responsibility for the loss, which I believe was down to playing the wrong team and making the wrong subs. Hopefully that means we’ll see Charli more now.

2–2, bad for Kristianstad who could’ve gone back up to fifth to be drawing to a team that got relegated and had nothing to play for. Also why play 5-4-2 against a team that got relegated and had nothing to play for?

As for Linköping it’s historic for them to be relegated. Such a big club, now down in the Elitettan for the first time. Umeå who’ve won two UWCLs (which is as many as Arsenal and more than Chelsea who have zero lol) are now also in the Elitettan, they got relegated several years ago, came back up but went straight back down again. Now it could be Rosengård, the club with the most Damallsvenskan titles in Swedish history, that go down too given they're in the promotion/relegation playoff spot.

Sweden's development in women's football (which started earlier than most countries in the world) is unique in that it was mostly based on either women's-only clubs like Kristianstad, Linköping, Umeå, Växjö, Vittsjö, etc and small local clubs in the lower divisions of the men's game like Kopparberg/Gothenburg (eventually became Häcken's women's team, Häcken are in the Allsvenskan), Piteå, Rosengård (well technically Rosengård were actually Malmö's women's team until 2013 when they merged with a small local club called Rosengård; Malmö are indeed a big club in the Allsvenskan), etc. But now that all the big men's clubs have women's teams it's changing and the little local clubs are dying out. Kristianstad are actually one of the best surviving teams given they finished higher than all the other women's-only clubs.

2006 Damallsvenskan teams:

* Has an Allsvenskan team: Djurgården, Hammarby, Malmö (at the time, now the old Malmö is Rosengård and a new Malmö exists)
* Has a men's team in a lower division: Bälinge, KIF Örebro (Karlslund)
* Has no men's team: Jitex, Kopparberg/Gothenburg (at the time, now Häcken), Linköping, QBIK, Sunnanå, Umeå

2025 Damallsvenskan teams:

* Has an Allsvenskan team: AIK, Brommapojkarna, Djurgården, Häcken, Hammarby, Malmö, Norrköping
* Has a men's team in a lower division: Alingsås, Piteå, Rosengård
* Has no men's team: Kristianstad, Linköping, Växjö, Vittsjö
