Mariners new ownership soon?

I have a different experience. For a while a cousin lived in Canberra an the later I'd go down to the Australia Day long weekend touch football where we would stay with one of our teams family (high up in the Defence Dept). The point being local knowledge presents a whole different side to Canberra, good pubs. clubs, eateries that aren't tourist traps and areas where the tourist don't know about. This is years ago now so I really don't remember the places. These days if I have to go it tends to be a flying visit.
Fair call, Im there 4-5 times a year and can attest to good pubs and eateries :) Not sure about where it sits on the "excitement" scale for a young pup like MCG though :)

I'm sure there is a rule against that. I think it was brought in when the City Group bought Melbourne Hearts.
Reading the article below, I think it limits the club to two loans from its multi-club ownership:

the Clause will be amended to allow such transfers involving clubs with common ownership but implementing “guardrails” by limiting the number of multi-club transfers/loans to two such players on loan at any one time (similar to existing FIFA loan prohibitions).

It also confirms that there IS a DTS between A-League and the lower tiers, I knew I had read it somewhere previously haha! Does that mean we can put this argument to bed now? But we're still missing transfers between two A-League clubs in the DTS.

as a result of a policy change in December 2020, transfers fees involving National Premier League Clubs and Community Clubs are now permitted including where such a transfer involves a player moving to or from an A-League Club.

Its mind boggling there isn't any kind of Aussie consortium invested to buy in to the local game.
Mind you I get why you wouldn't for the ROI is woeful but surely there is some well off tragics around.

For eg, Clem Morfuni who owns Swindon Town.
He sure isn't banking $ over there - he paid something like A$400+K '21/22.

Being anti-Israeli regime under Netanayu, does not make you a holocaust denier or antisemitic.
He didnt deny it I think compared 60 thousand Palestinian deaths to 6 million Jewish ones and that "Armies" should invade Israel ... sounds like a typical nutbag.
