Mate, they have been blasting the news non stop the last two weeks about afl player infidelity

I'm just going to say it I wouldn't be surprised if his right. I think most a football clubs aren't run professionally like the other codes and that's part of the reason we get these negatives stories and shitty things happening.

Probably varies from club to club, but I know at both MV and MC they do fairly comprehensive media training.
 
Some of the behaviour from Victory fans towards Cavallo was very poor. Especially what happened in Shepperton. I don’t condone it and those bans were probably deserving (not having an appeals process is still wrong, but that’s a debate for another thread).

I am also glad Victory and Adelaide United are still pushing on with the pride game. It’s sad in this day and age that homophobia is still alive, but it is and we shouldn’t ignore it.

But what I am also not going to ignore is that Josh Cavallo is a flog. He has done some antics on the pitch which has made me and others boo him, that has no relevance to his sexuality, but people have interpreted it that way.

And people can now see what an idiot he is going by the way he talks about his former club. Adelaide United were very, very good to him and this is how he pays them back.

The media controls what is reported, and the other codes generate more readers, viewers and money, thus a lot more is hushed in the other codes. Nothing to do with professionalism.

What happened in shepparton had nothing to do with him that I am aware? It was just a bunch of idiots having a sook about pride round.

Dude AFL stumbles from one racism saga to another ALL year, ITS always on the ens... some schmuck facing the press saying their clubs is NOT inherently racist and did NOT ask aboriginal players to have their girlfriends get abortions or whatever.... they culture of those clubs is a dumpster fire, EVERYBODY knows it and nobody really cares. but you can st say it is hidden.

BTW, if, and i mean if true, then this is more a society problem, rather than a football problem.

Player infidelity is not attacking the AFL organisation or leadership. It is a side show with moral overtones.
But the fact that St Kilda has been broke for decades and gets subsidised by AFL HQ. The cursory they made some mistakes along the way is written as a single sentence and then nothing to see here. Paying $1.7M/year to a mediocre player like TDK (who is mentally weak) is not seen as a financially suicidal move but lauded as a way out. Could PG or NJ or CCM do that? not a chance.
