If they do qualify, it will be interesting to see what sort of investment goes into the games. They've increased NPL crowds through better community engagement, and I imagine they'll increase that two-fold if they were to qualify.

I wonder if they would consider putting in temporary stands on the empty side(s) to maximise attendances. Similar for Olympic Kingsway. They did a great job for their cup game against Victory last year with temporary stands - hope they do similar for the Championship if they qualify.

Excellent growth in just half a season. It's reasonable to think you could get 2000-3000 for group games in the Championship if you qualify, and the investment in community engagement continues / amplifies from the club. That number of people in a small ground like Seymour Shaw would make for a great atmosphere.

Curious what they get if they make the championship

Apparently clubs reported 200 to 300 percent boosts in crowds last year. But the caveat is that the fa also use a more conservative crowd counting model than what npl (or a league clubs)

My guess then is internal counts in championship are between 2k and 6k but fa counts around 2k

I think it may be the other way around. Some of they crowds the clubs were announcing included hands and feet.

what do you mean by other way around? I said FA count will be lower than club internal count because of a more conservative crowd estimation model (official ticket sales + 15%)

The FA announce whatever goes through the turnstiles or tickets sold. The clubs inflate it to aid their cause of a new pyramid.
