As for cars with an engine (sorry I cant associate ICE with anything other than Donnie boys thugs) There is a MASSIVE ancillary parts. labour,servie, infrastructure business to be taken out of the equation frist before full electric take over... I think engines will simply get more and more and more efficient rather than proper cars being taken off the road in 2-3 generation.. even the horse and carts didn't disappear overnight, in parts of Africa, South America and Asia animals and carts are still the principles of transportation...

Audiophiles are full of shit. They hear anomalies and defects. So when they say 'it's a purer experience' they're preferring a worse version of what they're listening to and dress it up with bullshit terms and snobbery.

A CD recording of an orchestra, for example, is measurably more accurate by every metric than an LP. That's just a fact.

I really didn't want to, my ears are ruined from years of working in clubs and loud environments in my 20s but even I can tell the difference between analogue and digital sound... IF you can't fair enough but there IS a remarkable difference between the two.
