Graham Arnold's Iraq thread

It's more likely that Graham Arnold will be coaching against the Socceroos in the 2027 Asian Cup unless Iraq and Australia are matched up against each other in the knockouts of the World Cup.

Which is possible but highly unlikely. Iraq could win Group I and *potentially* face us if we finish third in Group D. Same goes for vice versa, we could *potentially* play Iraq if we win Group D and they come third in Group I.

Chances are though Iraq will be easily eliminated from their group. Their group consists of France, Norway and Senegal, all of whom are significantly better sides than Iraq.

Iraq have never played any of the other teams in their group before and Graham Arnold will be instilling the fighting spirit into the Iraqi players who will no doubt be inspired to try and get at least a point or even win a couple games.

Iraq will obviously have more fighting spirit than the rest of the group of death because of the way they had to qualify for the World Cup proper and Arnie will be basing much of the Iraqi mentality this cycle on that of the Socceroos last cycle.

OH I see, obviously France, Senegal and Norway are only there on holiday... Maybe Arnie can tell the Iraqis about mateship as well I dont think anyone has friends outside of Australia?

Ugh it just gets distorted. Everyone has friends but in its own cultural way. Like Germans who'll offer jack shit to eat and drink when you visit while Greek friends have you swimming in food.
