Preussen Munster came to Australia in 1964- they had just been relegated from the Bundesliga then.

I remember when Juninho the Brazilian was playing for Middlesbrough in England in a League Cup semi-final against Stockport County he was absolutely brilliant....It was a world class performance.

The League Cup was then known as The Coca-Cola Cup and the Man of the Match prize was a Coca-Cola branded BMX....

The TV co-commentator for the game was Kevin Keegan and he had to award the MoM award.

But he gave it too rhe Stockport keeper and said "What's Juninho gonna do with a BMX????"

Interesting Tom Byer giving detail about what he did in Japan

he mentioned that first thing he would do if given keys to the castle in Australia would be to try and work with every kindergarten in Australia

This is just how football finances work, deficits run higher in p and r, which is compensated because more investors come in

He's right. It's not only the robotic aspect of the modern game but even the Champions League format change became boring after one year for me. I like the change but it eventually still feels like the same teams playing each other. That's fine but there's just a predictability about it despite Bodo and Galatasaray advancing.
