Football games

I thought some might be interested in the links below. The first one is a bunch of FIFAs to download. Just tried one out, hot damn so much nostalgia right now, like heart fluttering haha.

The bottom link is one of many rankings of the FIFA franchise. 12 to 14 seem to be the goats. 13-14 was probably the best marquees in the A-League, so I'll stick with that for now. Edit: Del Piero is in 14 not 13.

Am going to take a look at these finally - hopefully 16 is in there.... found a source for a great mod that's the "History of Football" for it

I am so tempted (if this works) to go back in time and do my rewriting Socceroos history with this hahaha.

From what I've seen in clips, there will be:
1974 Socceroos
1982 All Whites
1986 Socceroos (not sure why, but it was in someones 1986 World Cup simulation I saw as a selectable team)
1997 Socceroos
1999 All Whites
2001 Socceroos
2003 All Whites
2005 Socceroos
2006 Socceroos
2009 All Whites
2010 Socceroos
2010 All Whites
2014 Socceroos
2017 Socceroos
2017 All Whites
2018 Socceroos

Also, would possibly be able to do my "Rimet Cup" going back riiiiight to the past (but with smaller numbers). It has up to the 1948 Olympics, All Euro and Copa America Tournaments (at least up to 2016, but may be a bit further?) and all Confederation Cups as well.

Not to mention the club side of things...

Ok I have no idea how to change decades on this patch, but it is fun. Defaults to 1990s, so did a 1997 Socceroos v 1999 All Whites match:

ok have used this to source FIFA 16 (as above), but also FIFA23 (currently installing).

But, I did a second install of FIFA 16 as there is a mod that turns it into Road to 2018 FIFA World Cup, complete with all Russian stadiums AND every national team AND every continental cup AND - this is the kicker - literally a stadium for every national team in the game.
Stadium Australia for example in the video below


There's a similar mod for FIFA23 (not including the stadiums, but in line with 2022 World Cup, that I'm currently downloading/installing to test out and will show as well. This means I can actually do proper "Rimet Cup" tournaments for 1998, 2002, 2006, 2010, 2014, 2018, 2022 and 2026 now.

Can you post links to those mods mate?
 
So - I wasn't able to get the FIFA23 one working well - I don't think it was maintained past the second last Title Update, so doesn't work well.

However, there is a World Cup 2022 mod (same as the 2018 World Cup one) for FIFA 16 available at the same site I linked earlier that I will be giving a swirl tonight. Essentially is a kit and roster update (plus 8 of the Qatar World Cup stadiums alongside all the national team stadiums provided in the 2018 pack)

Normally by now the patches get rid of the rigidness is that it feels like trying to straighten a plane on a death spiral. I've tweaked all the settings to no avail. Their descriptions are a lie. They reckon one mode gives you the more legacy style of free flowing fifa but it's simply not true.

Tried it with a mod and it just feels like magnet feet again - don’t like how it does that
