The Ferns have just announced their World Cup qualifiers squad. Two A-League Women players (Charlotte Lancaster from Newcastle Jets and Pia Vlok from Wellington Phoenix) make their first appearances for the senior national team. Maddie Iro from Hills United also snuck in.

The Ferns will face Samoa, the Solomon Islands and American Samoa, with all matches being held at National Stadium in Honiara.

I think Emma Pijnenburg will definitely get another move overseas to a club larger than Wellington Phoenix especially given the fact that she already has prior experience in Europe and is making waves in A-League Women.
