Game could have gone either way. Portugal better in the first half, Croatia in the second. I have no issue with Ronaldo starting but if at the 60 minute mark it isn't working, Ramos should come on. Should have happened vs DR Congo and Colombia. Glad to see Ramos get on and score.
 
Real shame feel the better NT lost that one having the 2nd half....should have closed it when the chances arrived.

Never even touched it, the direction of the ball doesnt change, and it comes off their defender last.

Using Snicko technology in the ball to determine if it touched a strand of hair, its a fucken load of shit. The more technology the more room for corruption and rigging the match.

Fuck FIFA and that bold headed cunt of a president.

Not one angle of that non-goal was conclusive. The alternative to the snicko would have been a completely arbitrary decision by the ref or the VAR. Maybe in the good old days, benefit of the doubt would have gone to the attacker.

I was pulling for Croatia. It sucks to go out that way but I don't mind the snicko.

Wouldn't Veiga's touch have needed to be intentional for it to be called onside? I think....I don't know. These new technologies are forcing questions about the rule I haven't thought about in years

They looked the most likely - an offside goal.

apparently unintentional lol.

if there is a chip in the ball to determine snicko, why did the ref need to go to var to check it out?! Decision should have been made on the spot. If this was the other way around, the goal would have stood for Portugal.

This current FIFA makes Sepp Blatter look like an Angel.
