FIFA WC 26 - Other Nations LIVE Match Thread ⚽

The UK and some other European countries still have them for some reason.
Control. Germany is 19€ a month per household regardless of whether you have a device. The UK inspectors get laughed at while Germany has laws that see your case turned over to debt collection agencies where it'll stuff up your credit and rental suitability.

The sheep say it's important to finance 'independent' media which is utter tripe when they're the most biased self service place.

The budget is 10bn Euros a year for the same old repeats of internal film and series productions that put you to sleep. Numerous regional HQ and a surplus of radio stations all with their own executive teams and management.

Meanwhile they were too tight to pay for the women's world cup, Olympics and this world cup that the rights got split.

Pulisic given too much room.
He’s the main cog and he’s got the go forward to turn defenders and create.
Who’s our RB ?? we shall see what Poppa thinks to contest him.
The Socceroos can't be giving Christian Pulisic or even Malik Tillman that much space defensively because they'll just be creating chances or will be passing the ball to Folarin Balogun up front, and definitely our defensive line has to find a way to shut them down even with Popovic parking the bus.

Italiano had a hard time covering against Switzerland but this is again a label of one performance on a players. He's generally alright defensively. He'll be challenged.

Eric Dier scored and own goal off a Degenek cross and everyone saw him as the next Cafu.

Where’s everyone who thought we were a shoe-in against the Yanks? They e been unbelievable and their bandwagon will double.
None of those guys have ever watched the US play. We aren't suddenly going to become good offensively overnight. We can shit-house a result if we are lucky but we are going to be on the back-foot 80% of the game. I think we will do better than Paraguay though but you also shouldn't count Paraguay out against us. As much as they look bad, the US are competing so hard and are making them look bad, we aren't going to dominate the ball nor have the chance creation against Paraguay like the US are having.

Well they're getting it all right today. They're playing the game and the occasion. A poor attacking opponent so far.

Popovic will see where Paraguay have gone wrong and will try to set up better. I look forward to the game. We'll know a lot more after our first game.

You play Leckie at RWB you tell him to physically annoy Pulisic for the first half, hack him to death make him angry like when he played against Netherlands only way we get a result hook him at 60 and bring on italiano.

USA are bringing players forward but we haven't seen their defence tested
The USA defence hasn't been tested because they're using the long ball to progress downfield and are passing the ball quickly which means that there's no chance of them losing possession or being put under pressure by the opposition.

Haha the Dier Cafu mention luv it JS.
Look every game is different.
Paraguay need to contest far more they have been shell shocked.
Win some 50/50’s
Retain some ball.
As we say it’s a game of 2 halves
Let’s see

This is Popovic heresy but any chance of success for us against US will be to go at them - it'll be our attack not our dfence that wiill get us a result

Ideally we should be starting Mathew Leckie at right wing back and have him stifle Pulisic for as long as he can or until he gets subbed off then bring on Italiano to replace him.

Oh Leckie as a RWB. The thing that should've been done 10 years ago. Leckie can track but he's just not pacey anymore. I think it has to be Geria with Devlin nearby to zonally keep Pulisic at bay. Geria is good at handling his are and can sit back a bit more than a wing back.
