Will need to check the updated FIFA rankings after this - whilst FIFA are using the latest published version (before the tournament) as the final tie-breaker if required - they are provisionally updating throughout the tournament
 
Just wide by Turkey. So indicative of their campaign but shocking complacency and reliance on half chances.

Playing for Real means you've got submissive opponents and ref favouritism every week. He's going to grow but the world cup has shown he can't do much when his space is crowded out.

WOW - Turkey have dropped 10 places by losing to Australia and Paraguay, and are now 31st

we are still up 2 places overall after today's loss (25th)
