English Premier League 🦁

I think City will get it to be honest. Even though City have an FA Cup final, Arsenal have two legs of a Champions League semi-final that they’ll be fully focused on (but still lose). While City still have to play Villa, Villa aren’t in good form like they were at the start and early middle of the season.

As for relegation, it’ll be tough for both sides but I honestly think that since we both won last weekend, we’re the favourites to go down. Like how Arsenal and City have to play Palace, we both have to play Leeds. West Ham have Brentford, Arsenal, Newcastle and Leeds next while we have Villa, Leeds, Chelsea and Everton. I wouldn’t sleep on Forest going down though despite their good form, as they’ve got Chelsea, Newcastle, Man United and Bournemouth plus two legs of a Europa League semi against Villa.
Yes, it's interesting at the bottom, as any of Spurs, Hammers and Forest have the cattle that they could go on a run which would leave Leeds exposed. I am expecting that low 40's will be needed to avoid relegation. If both Spurs and Hammers beat Leeds, it puts a whole different complexion on the third relegation spot.

Look up "bottle" on Wiktionary, go to the "English" section and then the "verb" subsection. Then scroll down a bit. Then you'll find Arsenal bottling the league being an example of how "bottle" is used in British sports slang.

Leeds ahead against Burnley. 6 points from Spurs isn't exactly comfortable when crazy things start to happen but life it's 9 points which feels much nicer.

Burnley are woeful. Rotten mentality.

Just looking at the run in, I think Spurs have the easier of the games.

Forest: 5 games left. Need two wins to secure safety. Games against Chelsea, Villa, Newcastle, United, Bournemouth. Can see them getting 2 out of those games, so definitely in the drivers seat.

West Ham: 4 games left, Need at least 2 wins and a draw to survive. Games against Brentford, Arsenal, Newcastle and Leeds. Not liking their chances against those clubs, so the players really need to dig deep for this.

Spurs: 4 games left. Need to win every game, but could draw at least 1 if West Ham slip up. Villa, Leeds, Chelsea and Everton in their run in. Seems much easier I reckon.

Unbelievable turnaround for Spurs. Credit to RDZ, he is a fantastic manager, albeit he’s a candle that shines very bright but burns out quickly.

If Spurs stay up which is looking likely now, I can see them having a better than expected season next year. I don’t think they’ll do a ManU though because they won’t buy over the summer like United did this season.

Do you think Spuds will celebrate survival as much as they celebrated an actual Euro trophy last year?

Listening to commentry was quoted it was the first time in yonks Villa @ home down by 2 that early in a 1st half.
Yes I rate RDZ, infact I wouldn't have minded him at LFC but not the point.
IF I was a spudz supporter I'd be livid its come to near on the last post that the players have finally pulled their bloody fingers out ! but all they'll focus is the hope of staying up ofcourse.
Bit early to predict about next season or looking likely - lets see what the remaining 3 games bring being just 1point above the Hammers.
All I see is a dog fight both of them no matter who they play, life or death.
I reckon its still very much a each way bet.
