English Premier League 🦁

When I saw the Hütter post of course I had to read it twice.

Had a student in my class years ago and the name was Hilterhaus. Of course I misread it.

https://www.liverpoolfc.com/news/mohamed-salah-leave-liverpool-end-season

Mo Salah will be leaving Liverpool at season's end, finishing a nine-year stint at the club where he scored 255 goals in 435 appearances for the side to become their third all-time leading goalscorer, in addition to winning two Premier League titles along with plenty of other silverware.

and onto a nicer finishing note......enjoy the highlights below of the marksmen.
Talking recently in another thread re Puskas - a much worthy modern day winner.

Mr. MO our beloved LFC Egyptian KING of the modern times.
Massive EPL record breaker no one can deny ! the man has been Da Man.
Imagine maintaning such form throughout your playing career (excl this ofcourse) as he has - during levels of marking players out/stacked defense's - stat nerds of opponents instructing on their white boards how to nulify this kind of player.
The MCity/LFC ride/rivalry has to be one of the best cycles the game has seen.

Time was coming - been waiting for this to come, I hurt and I smile/praise how lucky he's been a Redman !

MCG brought up he paid A$120 a tick for the Roo game coming up.
I just checked SFC derby tick starts @ A$50.

Just for interest this is whats doing @ Anfield - sure chalk and cheese comparison wise but IF your a local scouse on a average salary they in time will get priced out like whats occurring with all the large EPL Club supporters.
Liverpool announced their ticket prices will rise for the next three seasons limited to inflation, which some will see as only a minor inconvenience, but it overlooks the needlessness of it all.

The most expensive adult ticket next season, in the Main Stand, will set you back £62.75, making the average ticket at Anfield £49.45, excluding the £9 local and junior tickets.

In three seasons’ time, the average cost to access a ticket at Anfield will be above £50

Average 49.45 pounds >>>>>> A$95.92 ! this is ticketing in the Main stand - GA tickets.
62.75 pounds >>>>> A$121.67

how much have tottenham spent on managers? Surely the most out of any EPL club.

Ridiculous

Ridiculous

They have all the money in the world to spend on Managers but seemingly no money to build a proper football department and buy the right players.

Absolute shambles of a club. If it wasn’t for Premier League money they’d be in administration.

fark, I really like RDZ but as we posted before money talks eh ?!
I really shake my head jumping on a sinking ship in the hope keeping it afloat.
What viewing this will be for 7wks.

He's going to be paid a huge packet even if they get relegated and the likelihood is if they do, many of the deadwood will leave and he can re-shape the squad in his image by starting to re-build in the championship.

It's a pretty big deal, but as we know with De Zerbi, long term stints aren't really his thing. He'll need to take some angry pills.
