Liam rosenior is one of the weirdest choices I've seen as a top six epl manager in all of my years of watching

Reactions: LFC
its a weird season full stop might I say - some may say good.
Apart from LFC losing the plot I'm surprised by the Eagles drop in form after such a great last season and earlier this carried through but the wheels fell off sometime back as well.
Chelsea are hanging in somehow atm.
United somehow have hung around due to so many around them up and down in form.
Brentford/Toon holding stations.
Black Kats the same.
Toffee's have really recovered of late.
Seagulls are not like they have been past seasons.
Spurs still a mess.
Forest not much better.

No, he's a smarmy Scandi, which the British media love.
It's wild to me that Frank is doing worse on every metric, yet everytime they talk about his failures at spurs they always mention "he is a great coach who has done great things at Brentford". The playstyle is shit, the results are shit, performances are shit, the fans hate it, the players don't respect him yet the UK media admire him, and some even calling for patience.

Brentford’s best attribute is their Football Dept. who run a similar back room to Brighton. They unearth quality players. It annoys me how the media tells that Frank set that up, which he did not.

The “success” of the Bees is down to Mathew Benham & Phil Giles. It’s just dishonest to suggest otherwise.

I have found the discussion around styles of football suiting some clubs and not others. Thomas Frank being a prime example. His style of football suiting a mid table club who aren’t expected to dominate and win every game. Despite being “successful” at Brentford, his style of football has not suited Spurs at all. Spurs are expected to dominate and win most games.

Similar things being said about Oliver Glasner. It makes sense but to be honest, I’ve never really thought about it until this season.

Jose Mourinho likened managing an elite team to driving a Ferrari. You have to have the balls to manage the ego's in the dressing room more than anything else. He won lots playing a more defensive style.

A lot of these managers like Frank & perhaps Glasner who are students of the game and tactical nerds do not carry the aura. The big time players don't respect them and never will.

Ange had never walked the same hallways as Pep & Jose but he had the charisma and man management skills to keep the players captivated and on his side.

I heard a comment based off this on the Greek sports news last night after Rafa Benitez's massive flop against AEK... One bright spark said Rafa was indeed driving a Ferrari like Jose..... but at the Rally Acropolis...

he went through some growing pains his playing days due to his spice girl but wow having your own off spring dis own you publicly sure is worse than a flying football whisky nose boot coming at you !

Um what????? from death threats over red card to shagging anythign that moved.... he was a tabloid favourite for decades mate.
yep there is plenty of chapters.......

Anyway bugga the ex manc, come on Sat 11.30pm first game Matchday 23 of 38.
You'd think surely the gooners are finally going to get this title with a 7point lead.
City stuttering bigtime - Villa equal with City - really can't see anyone challenging consistantly.
