Yeah they didn't really have much except for maybe that Odobert chance, and the Tel volley outside the box which were both difficult tbh.
 
Slotball is very slow keeping composure.
Didnā€™t like arse @ home dictating the 1st half but it certainly is effective
2nd half we had more ball and control.
Szobo - what a spot kick - the curve and dip had Raya totally bamboozeled !

Interesting to see a lot of youth players in squads and getting minutes. Injuries the reason but it makes squads concerned about their depth again.

Glad West Ham got up and the final 15min were glorious for their fans.
 
My god Villa are rotten.

Wirtz has been horrid for fantasy points so far. Got to be patient. Wan Bissaka probably out now. Issue is they're losing some value so trading takes a loss.
 
I needed to get some sleep would have liked watching Villa Palace.
Palace are improving a lot but so should have Villa last season as well but digressed.
Shame for they did very well season before last expected them to kick on.

I get when a club doesn't want to let any player go but when a player insisted on their departure they should honour this, who wants to keep any player who doesn't want to be in your team.
It had caused angst for all, more their own Club and fellow players.
He requested release long before season started - any smart team owner knows your creating a hornets nest but its the players fault ?

Honour your contract, dont sign a 6 year deal.
 
haha yer right doesn't go that way for all, also IF your empolyer is getting a top deal again cut your loss thats just smart biz.
Besides they let it drag till they got their replacement as just announced, again the dicked it themselves the way I see it.

hehe yep talk about investing/splashing the $$$$$$.
I'll look at the long game r_l, lets face it champion MO aging I can't see him keeping up what he's done the last number of years but IF he proves me wrong again this season wooohoo for us.
Record season I'd luv it but its never as easy typing that as such.
One thing is for sure once all the newbies settle in with the core I expect our defense of the title should be immense.
Ekiteki impress's me alot just 23yrs - we still are not playing to him well enough, hope he's long term LFC player that promise's so much and worth the buck.
I really don't think we needed Isak but what club or supporter would deny the move.
Proven, hitting the start of his peak just 25yrs, needs to get match fit and will be a beast me hope once settled like last season.
Attack with them 2, MO, Gapko, young Ngumoha, Chiesa covering the many fixtures ahead.
Just give me back to back titles and whatever else may come and were strong for seasons ahead.

Szobo your most underrated player I reckon, going to be a key player for you lot after Trent's departure. Already proving his worth this season.

maybe to you guys BUT Szobo never been under rated by us - was a key last season and previous.
Smart Klopp buy and not cheap 60Mlbs back in '23.
Actually Slot under rated him early '24 ironically - he's been eating his words.
