Don't mind people arguing, but want to keep the championship and the general a league thread 25/26 threads on topic. So please debates here and keep those threads on topic

Personal attacks or inflammatory posts may result in a warning or ban depending on the severity.
 
Looking at social media, many supporters of the championship would just get people offside.

Anyone in the teenage to 30 year old bracket, never grew up with NSL etc...so all they know as professional football in australia is the a-league - I am not here to judge if that is good or bad.

However, look at social media - there is so many unhinged comments regarding the a-league on the championship pages, 'These crowds are better than the a-league', 'The football is better than the a-league' and bizarre conspiracy theories are that clearly complete bulsshit 'The a-leagae fans want to see us fail'. What is the obsession? Focus on yourselves and the positivity. It just puts people off. The two could be so benefical to each other. Most people who watch the a-league want the Championship to do well. Can't say it's the same the other way. And long term, I think they will suffer from it.

Are you saying that there are positive comments, on reddit, from Aleague fans, about "effnik" clubs?
C'mon mate... its a shitshow of ignorance both ways, lets be real here.

Im just talking about the championship and social media. I don’t look at reddit. No doubt there are clowns there.

But for example, look at any comment from a Heidelberg supporter 😂 just a non stop whinge fest with a chip on their shoulder. Everything from maco politics to god knows what. Hardly endearing themselves to generate new interest.
 
I genuinely feel sorry for Sydney United supporters with the excessive police presence at their games. But boycotting the rest of their games in whole competition?! Supposed to be a “Foundation Club”……….
 
1977 is when the NSL started. Nobody can call themselves a foundation club considering how long football has existed in Australia before it. ;)

A what??? Heidelberg supporter? hahaha you mean the 15 of them that grew out of thin air this season??? hahah cmon man, I heard them chanting "Ellas, Ellas Makedonia" at their match against South Hobart the other day... HAHAHAHA not the sharpest tools in the shed at best of times.... I wouldn't be looking to the Bergers as a sign of anything...

Did any of you see my comment on Facebook where I asked the Australian Championship to start banning these nationalistic psycho dumb people?

I was expecting a response from the psychotic nationalistic idiot's who infested that post.

But the hate I got was from ANOTHER type of psycho ... the virulent anti ethnic club type. 3 people just went absolutely nuts!

What was interesting was that it was an Anglo name, a Greek name, and a Slavic name.

They truly were psychotic in their hatred of clubs like mine.

It felt worse than even during the peak of the A League era.

Why would you want to ban people not causing any violence or doing anything illegal?

If these type of people on Facebook are offending you or your beliefs, then simply just block them. You will never see them again, simples, really.
FWIW, I have never seen a “ son of Sam “ on the championship page.

Surely your not surprised in this day and age at the hatred from a self loathing wog? Haven't you heard it all by now?

They start off with a measly mouthed, "I just want football in this country to do well" and "I want to watch football in an environment that makes everyone welcome" and ends with "I am a wog and proud of it but YOU go back to your greasy wog shithole country" and, for some as yet to be explained reason, "You are dinosaurs, living in the past with your dead clubs that don't exist anymore"???

Its been 21 years and I can't quite figure out if these apostates hate us because we stayed true to our original club, or they hate us because they weren't strong willed enough to do the same and now feel ashamed?

At least the new dawners hate us because Lowy told them too and they really don't know any better.
