What's going on at Belmore the hill has been hacked away on a $61m dollar centre of excellence??? They could have found another $300m and redeveloped the entire site leaving the hill in place!! WTF!!

One for the scrupulous in our group.. Galvin has a horse headed towards the Golden Slipper (if it continues to improve) it's called EXIT CLAUSE lol

DJ Moore situation at Chicago Bears similiar to Fox at the Dogs.

Elite talent signs with a struggling club, gives fans hope, delivers, and helps turn the club around.

The rest of the team improves and the guy starts to look overpriced for what he delivers, other salary cap priorities emerge.

Fans can get too attached to players, expecially expensive players who were not locally developed and are on good money.

Josh Curran us similar, I rate him and I'm not surprised that the Bears made him a priority signing.

He delivered a lot and the effort was usually very good, somehow i fee that overall we didn't play him in roles that unlocked his full potential.

Speaking of potential, Johnathan Sua apparently has a Willy Mason style afro, that will help him stand out in the trials.

There is a long list of players i want to see in the trials, Sua, Woods, Cocherane, Dykes, GCKT, Young, Latu, Todd, Spinks, Underhill, Jones.

Many of these guys will be pushing for NRL selection, especially if the rules allow a 6 man bench.

Guys like Sua, Rinakama, Rauqe, Woods, Dykes, Cocherane and Breyenton might dim our memories of Fox.

They could have still had " a centre of excellence " if they developed the entire stadium
I'm surpised that we lost seating.

It might relate to preparing multiple men and womens teams.

I wonder if the could set up some temporary scaffold seating for game days? Might take a week to set up and pull down.

They say that the centre of excellence takes up one quarter of Terry Lamb Hill.

I am sure that a future ground redevelopment could increase seating while having minimal impact on the centre of excellence once it was complete.

Minimising the impact on training during redevelopment might be tricky.

This might have reduced the ground capacity by around 10,000?

They started putting the pressure on Galvin already.. hopefully Burton and the boys are able to release it and let him play freely!!

Are you talking about the idiots at Fox or some other group of idiots?

I think the game in the media this season is to talk the Dogs up, set unrealistic expectations then tear us down.

If they manage to create some drama, our passionate fans fall for it everytime.

I do expect to finish 1st-6th, but I am also expecting the Tigers, Dragons, Parra, Souths and the Dolpins to potientially be a lot better.

Not all of them every week, but atleast one of them being in form and confident when we play them.

Dragons week 1 is a big enough challenge, especially if we are without Thompson.

Not much between the Dragons and us, but our attack should improve, theirs might take a few weeks to click, our spine is more settled.

Gutho and Cook are another year older.

One or 2 early losses and the media will be trying to create drama.

Apparently Galvin is doing all of the required work and more at training.

Outside of guys playing a blinder in trails and forcing their way into the team, i'm prepared to name my team for the first 3 rounds.

The guy mostly likely to force his way into tbe side is Latu, if that happens he replaces Curran.

1. Tracey
2. KIraz
3. Xerri
4. Critter
5. Montoya
6. Burto
7. Galvin
8. King
9. Hayward
10. Thompson / Hughes
11 Kiks
12. Preston
13. Curran

4 man bench
14. Woods / Turpin
15,. Mann
16. Toups
17. Hayes.

6 man bench
14. Woods
15. Mann
16. Toups
17. Hayes
19. Turrpin
20. Tuala

If Thompson is out round 1, I can see Hughes doing a good job.

IMO Hughes, DSF, Latu, Underhill, Todd, Baker and Jones will never be far away from NRL selection, one or 2 of those guys might force their way into the side and be hard to shift.
