Taranto, 5th division Italian team, 20,000 seater.
 
Teams must be allowed to spend more money & these stadiums would be the right fit for this aleague.
The Apl has manged to lower the ALeagues Mens level to the Npl standard or level & the Npl teams are now picking them off regularly.
Aleagues teams cannot defeat overseas teams now either.
Are we supposed to pay for subscriptions to watch glorified Npl teams? Right size the league to park football standard? That sounds like Conroy all over this.
Think long & hard about buying subscriptions, if it is value for money.
 
Central Coast is super spread out and it seems like there are a lot of fair weather fans, I wish council let the mariners buy the stadium when they had the chance

now that Central Coast Bears seems to no longer be an option, maybe someone can buy the stadium??

Council will not allow anyone to buy the stadium - but watch this space. I think you will see a 365 day a year activated stadium in the medium term and a 99-year whole of precinct lease.

For comparison greater Adelaide is around 450 people per square kilometre and a population of nearly 1.5m people. Sydney Melbourne Brisbane much higher populations and density.

Buy a stadium so you can house 1k crowd turn outs? gotta be joking. Better off buying a high school park in Gosford and setting up plastic chairs.

Nixs have never had 1k turnouts, and Im sure there Avg attendence is better then CCM. Plus Nixs have had some of the largest final turnouts in the ALM history something CCM can only dream of.
Anyway it is wot it is, I see Bunning have a sale on Plastic chairs you might want to pass onto your club.

The game was hosted in Sydney, SFC fans made up most of the crowd. The Nixs finals matches were 99% home supports.
Keep clutching at them strews. Wellington get worse weather then all almost most ALM but have never gotten 1k crowds. And you have won the league how many times? Plus Asian Silverware and that's the best you can get?.
CCM need a boutique stadium that can fit 5k like WU home ground so it don't look that bad on TV and it can fit all there fans plastic chairs and all.

The game was against Newcastle and we were the hosts. The only times CCMFC games look bad on TV is in the blazing sun when you could fry an egg on the seats in the Eastern Stand and everyone is off camera in the Western stand- Wellington doesn't get that problem even in their heatwave conditions it rarely gets to 30 degrees. Whereas temperatures on the coast are often well above that during the ALM season.

BTW - never seen washouts at Wellington or bushfires affecting transport and attendances at Wellington. Wellington - apart from the wind - probably has the best traditional football weather in the league. lows of 10-12 up to highs of 20-22 degrees.
 
I recall Roar at their peak would get 15,000 to normal club games, the odd 17,000. But you want to have a stadium of a size that people have to buy memberships to be sure of getting a ticket. So, 10-12k is good. I’d then like to see a 10k stadium at Richlands (Lions). Perfectly located, right at a train station and 15 mins from rapidly growing Springfield and surrounds.

I think I'm tending the other direction these days. I'd rather have smaller capacities with sell-outs most weeks, build some fomo and demand. Should be cheaper to run as well. Chances are we're building nothing, but we can dream haha
