Big Ange thread

He needs to take a break and do what's right for his family. He's moved them all over the world. Very unsettling for his kids.

Has made a small fortune with the severance pays and bonuses. Sit tight and decide where the F you want to live longer term and base the rest of your career around that or just retire.

His kids presumably go to school in London. If he gets a gig up in Glasgow, I could see his wife saying good luck, we're staying down south :)

There's an interview with former Nottingham Forest and Arsenal striker Tony Woodcock in the UK Telegraph which says he's friendly with Ange and lives near him in Hampstead in North London. Apparently they drink in the same pub....
 
I actually think when its all said done accepting the offer from Forest was a no brainer for Ange - on the surface it looks like a horrible career killer but everyone seems to hate him anyway and Ange knows this more than anyone. So it was a hail mary that was highly unlikely to have worked BUT if it did catch fire and the squad bought into it all immediately then MAYBE just maybe it might have been a final way for him to finally get the naysayers further than arms length.

In reality it was a punt that was completely worth it from his perpsective as the people who already thought he was shite still think the same thing as before. There was never ever changing their opinions on him and he walks away with the same amount of trophies in his pocket and a fuckload more cash...well played sir.

Now he just needs to decide whether or not he has enough in the tank to stomach more of the circus.

I lived in the UK for 2 years working as a football journalist. I've gotten closer to your 'Ranger Heroes' than you ever will. Whilst I don't proclaim to be an expert know it all, I have a pretty good understanding.

Across the city, a pro-Israel position has been taken up by Rangers fans, aligning the fans with the conservative and unionist category. Furthermore, Rangers are deeply identified with Protestant Unionism and loyalty to the British monarchy. This has translated into support for imperialist policies and opposition to those perceived as threats to the British state.

I am keeping it about the football. He wants to have a go at the Scottish club I support, I'm entitled to throw back some retorts as is customary as per the 'laws of the rivalry', as he claims.

He's also always been rude to literally everyone in this thread, and is quite happy to lay personal attacks
