Australian transfers 26-27 Summer

Yep - I know I was at the game but Finkler was the dominant one. CCMFC kept Rogic pretty quiet because they knew how to.
He was badly struggling with injuries during his time at Victory . His stint with CCM was breathtaking though. Best player i ever saw live in the A league.

Rogic was gobsmackingly brilliant in the 7-2 match vs Sydney FC.

I always used to stand with mates in the Cove for the first half and was tolerated despite everyone knowing I was a Seabogan. But that day it got to three zip quickly and there were dark glances in my direction. "Erm ... see you later boys."

So who else do we expect to hear about transfers over the next few weeks? Guessing many are loans, some back to Australia...

Karacic, Skoko, Izzo, Borges Rodrigues, Souttar, Francois, Metcalfe, Arzani, Petratos, Cummings, Balard, D'Agostino, Esposito, Volpato

These are the rumours I've tracked that haven't eventuated. Irankunda and Herrington headline. I'd like to see Overy, Arena and Hall head out on loan or transfer for senior minutes. Yengi needs to leave Aberdeen.

Rumours

Forwards
[ ] Akon Akol - Germany, England, USA
[ ] Nestory Irankunda to Sporting Lisbon - Portugal (1) or Hull City - England (1)

Midfielders
[ ] Noa Skoko loan to NK Rudes - Croatia (1)

Defenders
[ ] Lucas Herrington - Barcelona, Everton Liverpool, Manchester City, Manchester United, Chelsea
[ ] Alessandro Circati - AC Milan, Jeventus, Atletico Madrid, PSG, Newcastle United, Bologna
[ ] Harry Souttar - Stoke City, Sheffield United, West Ham United, Wrexham, Cagliari
[ ] James Overy - Rangers or the A-League.
[ ] Fran Karacic loan to NK Rudes - Croatia (1)

According to the Hull forums, Herrington has definitely signed (or at least agreed terms) but has not yet had his visa granted. They expect him to be announced either tonight or Monday.

Ah the british visa system

I spent several days trying to get their broken website to accept payment and found entire subreddits dedicated to their broken payment portal (it even has an email address that bounces for complaints and help!)

Worse, if the payment is rejected 5 times in a row you have to start again and fill out a new apllication from scratch

See herrington there in a week with a half crazed look on his face

We mortals have to go through the arduous process. Hannover get a new player, visa office on speed dial with dedicated staff. Everyone else has to wait months.

Goals galore in Bundesliga 2 today and I think Leonard getting a season there would be ideal. It's not vital he break into the Schalke team yet.

A small consolation by staying is U23 matches even the day after the first team if he doesn't get on the bench. If nearby they tend to let some play the Saturday or Sunday game.

Souttar looked distracted in his game last night. I don’t want to say he looked disinterested, but it sort of came across that way. He made a couple of uncharacteristic mistakes and wasn’t super involved in celebrating with his teammates. Maybe I’m trying to read something into it because I want him to move. He needs to get out of there ASAP.

I mean it could very well track as he wants to leave and I'm sure believes that he is above league one level.

Also the manager has come out and openly said he is keeping him against his will so all makes sense.

I genuinely feel he could play for a champions league side, absolutely am gobsmacked hpw a player of his level can be playing in league 1.

I think the only time ive ever seen a player so clearly beyond the lv hes playing at, was Prosinecki at bottom of the championship Portsmouth in 2002.

Manager knows he's the ticket to the quick bounce back. Will probably re-assess in January based on how the seasons going. It's bullshit he's at League One level.

It's stupid games being played by Leicester. They took the piss while he was fit last time and now refuse to let him go when there are interested buyers. Leicester should be OK even without him this season.
