We could definitely make a double named team and add Alex and Nick Badolato, Alex and Rhyan Grant, Liam, Lachie and Jai Rose, as well as Alex and Liam Bonetig to name a few.

The list could in theory go on forever but definitely if we're including former players and women's players then we can field Sharn and Laini Freier in addition to Holly and Matilda McNamara, the Taranto twins and all the previous Socceroos and Matildas greats who share a surname with current players.

If Lucas Herrington has a breakout World Cup campaign for the Socceroos then there's no reason why he can't make the move to Barcelona in the future and make waves in La Liga following his remarkable form in MLS for Colorado Rapids this year.

I watched the ESPN interview with Bos last night. He discussed his move out of the AL. He said he wanted to move to Europe and to get game time. I think that last bit is the key to a successful move. I hope Herrington has spoken to Bos.

Herrington is so keen for Australia but is he eligible for Germany? Given Germany's poor and aging defensive stocks, his talent being a Barcelona would wake them up. 1 second of play at the world cup to sort these albeit very unlikely scenario.
