Australian transfers 26-27 Summer

If St Pauli scout the A League I hope they'd take an interest in Younis. These hoarsonh tactics by European clubs is never fun. I get Brondby have decent players but Younis is also showing what he can do now. The quicker we break ranks when clubs aren't playing us is best.

What about Bundesliga 2? Better than even chance that's where St Pauli end up.
Certainly for the squad. Being around the positive environment may lift him to that next level. He still has growth potential.

The main thing is playing time so the 20 team third tier offers plenty of football and there are big clubs and stadiums there too now so that would be a good first year if he's not in their direct plans.

Second tier. Third tier is a complete waste of time
No it isn't. The 3rd tier is professional and good for development. There is more football available rather than sitting on the bench every week. The A League isn't right with later starts and fewer matches.

Sydney had a bloody 32 year old ex German 3rd tier striker starting. Why are we resorting to this when we have our own talents?

The German 4th tier is the issue. It's U23 or amateur based and acts as a football farm where mistreatment is rampant. U23 teams of big clubs there have little incentive and they treat the matches as a training course despite the fact they can bet promoted.

Josh Kennedy had an interesting path. Very briefly at Wolfsburg then Stuttgarter Kickers in the 4th tier. Transferred to Bundesliga side Köln but mostly played for their 4th tier reserves.

At 22, Klein's current age, he went to Dresden in the 2nd division. Klein's A League seasons are the substitute for the German 4th division and then some.

What we don't need is 34 games on the bench for a total of 300mins in a season. He needs to fire up and play 35 times. German Liga 3 can provide that.

I still think he's better off playing AL than third tier. At least if he's playing here, he's strengthening the local competition in a familiar environment rather than a backwater league that no one watches.

Demoted teams often are hard to break into tho

Saw that at harrys 2nd season at liecester - they kept the same cb pairing that kept harry out
It depends whether they'll be satisfied with a settling season and not going up. The manager will be under pressure and the last thing will be trying raw imports.
