Surely his better off going to Adelaide his old team? Moves like this fascinate me were Adelaide not keen did he decline it?

I think a lot of players aren't fans of going back to their old teams. I imagine it feels like a backwards step going back to the club you came from originally. A bit like tucking you tail between your legs and going back to your old job cause you couldn't handle it at your newer higher paying job.

Craig Goodwin is doing it. But let's face it - football is a career that has a limited lifespan, so he will go where the offers are and where the pay is good. Recent comments and articles on AU indicate that the atmosphere there is now poisonous so that would go against it as well.

I want Jovanovic to get substantial game time, so Archie levelling up a league would be good

I also am not sure about MLS, it is still developing as a league to improve players compared to known leagues like the championship, seri b, denmark, austria etc,
I also like that they are playing hardball to drive prices up

Whilst I want Luka to get a lot of game time too, I really think Archie needs another year of regular football before he’s ready to go OS

Half awake. FFS my brain has read words goodbye, medical and said and thought it was a death notice. The blue heart too...

Must try and get him capped at the very beginning of the next campaign. Asian cup before that though.
