Omiya Ardija seem to be an interesting project. They got promoted from the J3 League in 2024 then finished sixth in the J2 League in 2025, so they could aim for promotion to the J1 League, especially given Japan has such a competitive league system with different trophy (league and cup) winners every year.

I disagree, I just don't think he has been utilised by Sterjovski well in the time he has been there.

plus he's 8 years younger!

Caputo's potential is definitely superior to A-league level. Doesn't mean he will fulfil it, but talent is clearly there.
