Going around in circles so I'm done with this thread. It is a waste of my time. I can't reason with people who have different rules for different people depending on the colour of their skin, ethnicity, sexual orientation, religion, etc. The UN has a set of laws which should be evenly applied to everyone all over the world.

The premise of your question is flawed.

If we have to intellectualise “practical steps” to justify why Jews (or any other race/creed) should not be murdered for their identity/religion, then something has gone profoundly wrong with our understanding of the purpose of liberal democratic government.

Enforce the law. Protect your citizens.

He was the first on this forum to say “I can’t believe it hasn’t happened more” which is a weird statement because it either implies that the Islamists are such terrible people that this was always going to happen (Islamaphobe) or that the Jewish community are so terrible that it’s amazing that more people haven’t done this (antisemite).

Hahahaha what a deliberate misrepresentation. Do you honestly think all these events occur in a vacuum without any extenuating circumstances or they're the result of other occurrences that have happened.

9/11 wasn't a random attack, it was the direct result of American foreign policy, despite what Americans say about the terrorists 'hating our freedoms'.

What happened in Bondi is a direct result of Israel's making. (Whether justified or not.)

That doesn't mean I agree with fuckwit Pakistanis shooting up random Jews in Australia.
