Australian news and politics.

Theyre too busy ordering their Lebanese flat bread to give a hoot mate.

Albanese needs to grow some bals and make it legal for police to walk the streets force feeding cabbage bagels to these latte sippers
As the saying goes Greens belong in a salad not the fucking Senate.

Mehreen Faruqi & Sarah Hanson-Young are the definition of certified bat shit crazy and former leader Adam Bandt was just straight out evil.

On anti semitism it is not anti semetic to criticise Israel or people who do violence in their name. It is anti semetism to attack Jewish Australians simply because of their faith.

It's not anti Islamic to condemn the actions of Hamas or the people who do violence in their name. It is anti Islamic to attack Islamic Australians simply because of their faith.

Yes and yes.

Premier Chris Minns said the NSW government may seek to temporarily halt applications for protests.

“Protests right now in Sydney would be incredibly terrible for our community,” he said.

And there we have it folks.

The lid is off.

Fucking bullshit and a soft cock response. It's amazing the party of free speech and 'the right to be a bigot' and the biggest whingers against 18C legislation are getting exactly what they asked for. IE protests banned and free speech curtailed.

In a free and robust democracy the right to protest should be sacrosanct. End of.

Even if you disagree with the message, and that goes for Nazis too, you shouldn't be banned from your right to protest.

I'd be interested on what the people who think that not enough has been done think of banning protests. @Sharkman84 @Beretta

Took them long enough.

Should've been done after that disgraceful display at the Opera House after 07/10/23

Chris Minns is probably the only Labor leader with a brain.

Sydney University seems to have issues.

Oh yeah how terrible. A Palestinian cracked the shits at a bunch of jews over the fact Israel are murdering thousands of children.

So individuals aren't allowed to have an opinion, can't tell someone to fuck off if they don't agree with something, or are allowed to get upset by other students behaviours?

Is she enacting or propagating university policy, was she acting in an official capacity as a university spokesperson or is she just a staff member with an opinion?

You blokes are unreal. Are you against people speaking their mind? If I walk past Pauline Hanson and call her a fucking 2-bit idiot do you want me locked up?

I would bet a thousand dollars to your $5 if someone told you to pull your head in and stop abusing someone you thought was due for a free character assessment you'd be squealing like a stuck pig.

100%

That's the thing, they can say goodbye to any pro-australia rallies etc

Or if they want immigration reform they better get good at writing letters....

TBH, this is all the powers that be want. A chance to end dissent and have control over any message

So you're against freedom of assembly and the freedom to protest?

Just to be clear?

And which causes are allowed and not allowed according to you?

Banning protests is one of the first steps on the road to fascism.

So you're an Anti-Semite then, good to know.

Bet you cheered when those two loons when nuts at Bondi on Sunday.

Minns said the proposed changes would be a “blanket rule” and would not target a particular group.

The North terrace will be in trouble if they bring that law into Victoria.

This is a slippery slope for a democracy folks.

Technically there's no such thing as free speech in this country besides in parliament.

If you go up to your boss and tell him/her to fuck off you don't think there should be consequences?

You are a fuckhead as has been proven time and time again by Zimbos. You just love putting words in people's mouths and misrepresenting them.

You're either a fuckhead or you can't read.

Read this slowly. I have nothing against jewish people. The Israeli government and the IDF can go and get fucked when they indiscrimantly slaughter 10s of thousands of people and cunts like Netanyahu stick their noses into our business. How dare some fucking war criminal tell our government how to behave and what policies we should enact. Fuck him and the horse he rode in on.

The fact he happens to be 'jewish' has no bearing on whether I think he's a pig of a human or not. He could be a Calathumpian for all I care.

So you think Israel should've just sat back and took it when Hamas attacked it and took Israeli citizens hostage on 7/10/2023?

As per usual if the scummy Left didn't have fucking double standards they'd have none at all.

Freedom of speech is not freedom of consequences BUT do you think it should be illegal to do that?

Because that's what you're saying.

I'm saying there should be consequences but the pro-Palestinian marches and anti-Semitic chants are hate speech. End of.

Well, speech here is protected by law. It's just not written into the constitution.

But banning protests basically means no speech.

Ok if you want to ban any protest or voices in the community that's fine. I personally don't.

Again, more misrepresentation.

No I don't think Israel should have sat back and said that's all fine and dandy. Ever hear of the term 'proportionate response'?

How about this. IRA bombers set 5 bombs of on a tube in London and kill 100 people. In response the British invade Derry and kill 40 thousand people. Do you think that's OK?

Sorry what? Pro-Palestinian marches should be banned because.......?

What's your issue?

Answer the question. Do you think it should be illegal to tell your boss to fuck off?
