At least it wasn't a website :D I don't know enough about economics and government fiscal policy but surely this is the equivalent of money flowing into the coffers of those providing such services. How lucrative for the airlines. Just imagine if the money were redistributed to things that matter.

Government money is cushy but I'd like to think the private sector has even more immense sums yet private money can do what it wants. Needs to be taxed however.

What's the source of this data Pat? Some of it seems close but some seems way off (particularly tax as % of GDP) depending on what it is actually measuring and including or omitting.

The other table was from multiple sources OECD , ABS. etc. Note that OECD data is calendar year not Australian fiscal year.

This one is sourced from the OECD Revenue Statistics database, which aligns closely with ABS methodologies for consistency and covers the full historical period. This one is the same consistent method across all years but finishes earlier because dat is not yet available,

Has anyone been selected to do the Australian Bureau of Statistics 'Family and Community' Experiences Survey?

We were....

The lady from the ABS came around to interview my wife. Not me mind....

She spent about 10 minutes asking about the family, the household, our jobs etc.

Then asked to interview the wife in private...

She then asked her several questions about stuff like domestic violence, abuse and other personnel questions about addictive behaviour in the family etc.

Wifey was actually quite shocked.at the line of questioning....

Mind....Wifey did say I was addicted to watching the bloody soccer and she sometimes felt like my entire freetime was spent doing that and that there was no time for anything else.....hehehe.....

Also, how's the head and state of a few of these numpties who think they're from the master race. I actually half feel sorry for a few of them as it's clear they've got some kind of issues wether it's intellectual disability or were bullied when young

Anyone who isn’t committed 100% to this great country and as much as thinks about waving another flag should be immediately deported or at the very least shot with a bazooka while strapped to a flag pole with the Aussie flag waving proudly above them.

They should leave the sheila's in the desert. However, if the kids where born here, and were taken there, we have a obligation to return them here. It's our problem unfortunately.

If the sheila had a kid there, they can all stay.
