Australian Championship (NPL on planes) new signings 2025

I must be too used to - it is what it is - and all my years @ park football viewing from fold up chairs or stand up all games - all I care whats doing on the football field, sure I get peoples need for grandstands/seating etc - Lambert is old/iconic, your right on the pitch hear everything, I like seeing was used for the promo pics but lets face it all these games are at Leichardt and some complain about that field as well.
Just give me good football games - and clean toilets when/if needed.
Even Edensor, I've never used the far grandstand, sit on the concrete steps or near the active.
The Palace, again I go over the far side opposite the grandstand - I must be very easy to please :)
The last time I was in the grandstand not too long ago was at Belmore obviously watching SO vsing SFC for a cup game I think - that was good because of the greek volk guitarist playing at HT which is damn brilliant atmosphere got to say - you want to replicate Zorba dancing away haha
Hey Glenardo - another ex AL journeyman Van Der Saag for youse I see.

They did up the rest of it years ago and included some heritage elements at the entrance with the lighting and the benches and the new stuff with the club house and of course the football pitch which is great but I'll never understand why that old grandstand never got a makeover of some sort. I mean they're not going to bother now of course because the AC is being played at Leichhardt Oval. That seating in the grandstand is terrible, they drilled old seating from another ground on top of the old wooden benches. It could be so much better.

yes I hear you ez, APIA for ages have been in a bung fight with council re developing - not getting any funds and the fear of if you do build whats the knock off effect - meaning local resident complaints/noise/yaddayadda.
The trendy newer locals are not like of old.
Its a PIA catch22 situation.
Council have not co operated due to the money grab high density living deals with developers therefore the main campaign around Lambert Park has been the "Hands Off Lambert Park" been going on for ages, which has been fighting against a proposed development that would see residential towers built on land adjacent to the park.
The focus for APIA and supporters is on saving the park from being redeveloped or overwhelmed by residential buildings.
Like I said its a bad catch22 - damned if you do damned if you don't - I have a sad feeling one day the fight to hang in at Lambert will be done dusted and with the redev of Leichardt we shall be forced to move - especially IF the Championship kicks on and the comp grows more and more.
Below goes back 5yrs ago for eg

Anyway - we got to focus right now whats coming ahead - winning the Championship ! :)
