Australia winning 4-0 in the end, a good performance and some nice individual skill from some of the players as well.

Remember these kids are still developing as players, hardly the finished product just yet.

Would love to know what proportion of U17 Joeys say between 2000 and 2020 went on to get at least 1 cap for the Socceroos. I'd imagine it'd be pretty low. Maybe under 20%. Anyone have data on this?

its usually 1-2 per world cup squad

weirdly enough u17 world cup results for teams outside the top 20 are pretty good predictors for future success of a national team even though very few of the players from teams that did well go on with their career

in any case, all national teams are a brand and I want us to win every trophy we have a shot at
