The Singapore league is the same standard as NPL Victoria and they have to go through two years of conscription so their development is not as good compared to the Socceroos farm system.

True, though countries like Turkey also have conscription for men (Turkey doesn’t conscript LGBT men) and are good at football. I suppose Turkey gets German diaspora to switch though.

The key difference between the two is that Singapore implements conscription midway through the youth development process whereas Turkey does not so they're better at football because the prospects actually get consistent playing time and their development isn't being hindered.

Joeys had chances and shots on goal but Singapore are just too good for us defensively and their keeper is doing well to keep our shots out by making crucial saves.

The Joeys managed to get the job done 1-0 courtesy of a goal at the death from Luke Becvinovski but if a team like Singapore are keeping us scoreless until the last minute of second half stoppage time then it shows that there are problems with the tactical system.

It appears that we defeated Cambodia 2-0 in our final group stage match earlier today.

Really poor from FA to not even mention this at all on their socials. No line-ups, no final score, no goal scorers, nothing at all. Not good enough.
