Adrian Segecic on the bench for an unchanged Portsmouth side in their Championship game at home against Middlesbrough. Hayden Matthews also on the bench for Portsmouth. Jacob Farrell and Thomas Waddingham not in the matchday squad altogether for the home side. Sam Silvera on the bench for Middlesbrough, with Riley McGree not in the matchday squad altogether.

Ryan Teague not in the matchday squad altogether for KV Mechelen in their Jupiler Pro League game against Sint-Truidense, having been ruled out with injury.

Ah damn that explains his Australian omission but I'd hoped Popovic put it down to minutes.

Fair play to Lewis Miller, seems to have lifted to the level.
He's the perfect Championship style player when you think about it. Powerful, athletic, good skills going forward... but loses his man and position and makes rash decisions trying to make up for that.

Champo is his level but could also massively improve him for the NT.

I think of Miller as purposeful more than skillful. He has an aggressive mindset and wills himself into dangerous positions.

I think discipline has been a problem for Miller especially over the last three seasons but since moving to the Championship he has been better in terms of not getting as many yellow or red cards as opposed to last season or even season 2023-24.

Definitely has some skill going forward. Can beat a man and put in a decent cross, and long throw.

His issues are in defence.

It should be noted that Miller has recently been moved to cb and apparently that's where he has produced his best performances. It helps the NT if Popa is going to play him at cb but not so much if he wants to continue with him at rwb.

Good point.
