Aussies abroad šŸŒšŸ¦˜

A St Pauli board member posted on Irvine's instagram that no one is bigger than the club and soon he'll be warning earning his money at another club and will be noting bit a footnote. The board member has since apologised but Irvine's wife has since then shared her own two cents on social media.

Just weird by the board member.
I'm guessing that Palestine episode is hanging around.

Most comments Irankunda not injured and looked annoyed at team mates on pitch. Tactical change. Long campaign. Move on.
You can't gloss over it like that.

It's humiliating and unheard of to be subbed tactically at 35

What like Kewell for Popovic against Uruguay?

They turned it around and took the lead. Irankunda was rightly frustrated but was in the position that needed changing to adapt. They've got 46 matches. It'll happen again.

yeah it happens week in week out ffs

Popovic was taken off as he just about cost us qualification and shouldve been sent off moments before. Hiddink could see he was a liability

That's right. It happens in games across the world every week. Managers can make tactical changes in the first half. Irankunda will be fine. It's one part of a very long campaign.

Unable to have a similar influence on the match was Watford’s Socceroos star Nestory Irankunda, who after starting the game was taken off after just 35 minutes.

Unhappy with being substituted, the former A-League prodigy reportedly punched a chair in the dugout, threw a water bottle on the ground and then stormed down the tunnel.

Watford head coach Paulo Pezzolano later explained his decision to hook Irankunda.

ā€œHe didn’t seem fresh,ā€ Pezzolano told the Watford Observer.

ā€œHe wasn’t able to recover after an effort and we didn’t want to take any chances with any risk of injury or anything like that.

ā€œWe are playing a lot of games one next to each other.

ā€œHe’s a young player and he has been living a different situation.

ā€œHe’s been scoring goals and putting in some really good performances, many things going so well all of a sudden. This might be good for him.ā€

Irankunda’s teammate Mattie Pollock said Irankunda was ā€œfineā€.

ā€œHe understands that that’s football,ā€ Pollock said.

Adrian Segecic tells BBC Radio that he won't be in the next Socceroos squad.

ā€œNo I won’t be (in the Socceroos squad),ā€ Segecic told BBC Radio Solent on Thursday morning after scoring for his English Championship club Portsmouth in a 2-2 draw with Watford.
ā€œI’ll get the (international) break here, and I’ll be able to get my body well and ready for Portsmouth.
ā€œI think everyone wants to go to represent the national team, but it’s another opportunity to stay here, get the body right and prove a point.ā€

Reading it again, get the body right may just be a passing comment. Popovic will confirm.

Adrian Segicic came on in the 63rd minute and scored, Hayden Matthews was an unused sub, Jacob Farrell was not in the squad and Thomas Waddingham was unavailable through injury for Portsmouth in a 2-2 draw with Watford. Nestory Irankunda started and was subbed in the 35th minute for Watford.

Massimo Luongo was not in the squad for Milwall in the English Championship.

Kasey Bos played a full game for Mainz II in a 3-2 win over Eintracht Trier in the German Fourth Tier.

Rawley St John started and was subbed in the 93rd minute for St Pauli II in a 1-1 draw with Kickers Emden in the German Fourth Tier.

Danilo Treffiletti was not in the squad for Monza in Serie B.

Bae Versace was not in the squad for Buducnost Podgorica in the Montenegro Top Flight.

Patrick Yazbek started and was subbed in the 80th minute for Nashville in a 2-1 win over Austin in the USA Open Cup Final.

Panos Armenakas played a full game for the Oakland Roots in a 1-3 loss to El Paso Locomotive in the USL.

Samuel MciIlhaton started and was subbed in the 72nd minute for the Birmingham Legion in a 1-1 draw with North Carolina in the USL.

Raphael Rech was not in the squad for Juventude in the Brazilian top flight.

I'd love to know what the gaff says to him next it's really interesting how you need to stick to your beliefs while you keep a relationship
