Aussies abroad 🌍🦘

Dylan Fox played the full match in addition to stoppage time, scored in the 19th minute and got a yellow card in the 72nd minute for Tampines Rovers in their 3-1 ASEAN Club Championship win over Cebu FC. Trent Buhagiar came on in the 74th minute and scored in the eighth minute of second half stoppage time.

I don’t think Miller should be held accountable, solely, for the loss.

IMO SK comprehensively outplayed Aus. They deserved to win. I was devastated afterwards.

Then thankfully, Grazor pointed me in the direction of the new whiz generation of younger players! It has completely changed my perception of the future prospects of the Socceroos.
Australia should've buried the game. 2-3 great chances. Korea controlled the game until we scored but were pretty tame in the second half.

I still watch the replay and I can see why the penalty was given but Son starts his fall forward before contact and Miller going across him makes it bad. Had we just killed the ball a few sequences earlier it changes the whole butterfly effect.

Robertson is like that talented kid in school who have a good Tuesday and Friday but be terribly disorganised with scrunched worksheets in the backpack.

From arranging documentation in order to play for Australia to this now apparently club limbo, he's got some buffoons in his corner. He's probably just got a knock right now but you can't tell me enquiries weren't made when Cardiff went down.
The idea that he was holding out on the Roos because of the possibility of England seems like a parallel universe now.

He reminds me strongly of Ikonomidis at Lazio and his subsequent career path. If he doesn't want to end up on the same slippery slide, he needs to be proactive.

I would expect that this is quite a challenging situation for him - to have been on the edge of Man City and find himself at Cardiff. You really do wonder about whoever has been advising him.

Cole Palmer was on the edge of Man City, I don't think Robertson got that close!!!!

When Robbo never got a run at man city I thought it was kinda weird, he was part of bunch of u20 guns coming through the youth team. McAtee, Nmecha, Hamilton, O'Reilly, Delap, Doyle and Palmer all got a run and I would argue some of their numbers weren't as good as Robbos in the PL2.

Even when Pep didn't have Gundogan/Rodri or KDB he still couldn't get on the bench. I think he has an attitude problem.

With respect, that is a conclusion based on no observable evidence. It is more likely that he wasn't quite up to standard. If he was close, he wouldn't be playing in the third division now (and he's actually not playing, either(.

I think it is very difficult for young players to be hyped up, as Robertson has been on these threads, and then, for whatever reason, not meet expectations. At least not yet - a reset in the A League could be the ticket.

Marco Tilio was not in the squad for Celtic in a Champions League Qualifying Final.

Rafael Rech was not in the squad for Juventude in the Brazilian top flight.

Sam MciIlhaton started and played a full game for Birmingham Legion in a 0-1 loss to Rhode Island in a USL Cup Quarter-Final. Jackson Lee was an unused sub for Rhode Island.

Charlie Harper played a full game for Colorado Rapids II in a 1-0 win over Portland Timbers II in the MLS Next Pro League.

Mitch Duke was an unused sub for Gamba Osaka in a 3-1 win in the J-League.

Curtis Good played a full game for Buriram in a 1-1 draw with Selangor in the ASEAN Club Championship. Kenny Dougall was not in the squad for Buriram.

Stefan Mauk started and was subbed in the 70th minute for Công An Há Nôi in a 1-2 loss to BG Pathum in the ASEAN Club Championship.

More competition for Matthews as it looks like Portsmouth are buying a new CB. Josh Knight who played for Hannover last season and previously played for Peterborough and Wycombe in championship and league one.

Probably the experience that Portsmouth needed but adds extra competition for Matthews.

Robbos finishing isnt good enough to make it to the upper epl level

I can see him making the level below that

Tilio has been sold to Rapid Wien

I think Robertson has been pretty good at club level. It's injuries and poor transfer decisions that have held him back the most.

No carter for santa clara

Boyle and iredale start

Yengi missed a decent chance I'm reading but some compliments for getting into the position in the first place.

Milanovic being complimented for being most lively while rest are copping flak for doing nothing but Yengi also being excused for having no service at all.
