Connor Metcalfe came on in the 77th minute for St. Pauli in their 2-0 DFB-Pokal first round loss to Rot-Weiss Essen. No game time for Sam Klein, who was an unused substitute.

Volpato needs to learn to go to the ball when it's coming to him. He often runs away and it's intercepted. Firmness.

One or two good side passes into space.

Natta bench for Cesena.
I know it's typical many underage national players don't make it to the very top but I can't help but wonder which talent we don't identify by persisting with those loudest at young ages. That's not to say players don't develop at different times but we're not short of Young Socceroos and Olyroos has beens.

Serie A has always been fast paced. I'm going to enjoy watching. Valpato has been massively involved in some really good lead up play, but fuck that black fella and the tiny dude in front cant strike for shit

Black fella has his closest , luckiest best opportunity and still blazes it over the cross bar and out of the stadium

LB very nice tackle, grabs him from behind by the neck and causes him to fall, takes the ball and plays it to CB and playon no call

I think I prefer watching Serie A over La Liga. The latter has a lot of stoppages with fake injuries. Italy is alright with pace. The Bundesliga used to play out the back but have a lot of goals. Then it went very fast and direct and nowadays the goals have diminished comparatively.
