Iredale has had appendicitis. Apparently diabetes increases the risk. The manager said the surgery went well and he's expected back at training in about 7-10 days.

I reckon he's a national team smoky as he does a lot of good work, keeps his head down and gets the plaudits.

I have the suspicion his inclusion would solve issues by adding a spark and free up other players.

What I hate is we persist with the same players and we get the same obvious performances. We need variety to surprise opponents.
