Is he back from injury? Suspect he's still recovering from the ACL.

Ariath Piol still hasn't returned to play from his Achilles injury and probably won't be back until the latter stages of the MLS season.

He is creative in a different way, gets shots away when it doesnt look like something is on. Real different sort of striker

Hard to know his ceiling tho, very young and very raw

He could end up a league level or a star or anything in between

Watched a highlights package of him and know exactly what you mean now.. has a LIGHTENING fast shot release. Proper fox in the box type of striker ala Ian Wright/Fowler/Inzhagi/older CR7.

Seems to have great off the ball movement and stands right on the shoulder of the last defender.

Last player we had like this was probably Jmac, before that Taggart, Joel Griffiths, Scotty Mac and Damien Mori. Seems to have a quicker shot release than them though. Could really end up being anything (or nothing as you say).

If i were Popa id bring him into next camp. We are very weak at CF and if he hits the ground running, gets a couple of caps and performs well, it might persuade Sunderland
