It'd be a mistake. Devlin is a perfect sub for fresh legs to shut down a game. That speaks volumes given he's missed a number of matches with injury. Popovic still won't put him in squad sadly.

100% agree. No-one better placed in that situation. It'd be a mistake. Devlin is a perfect sub for fresh legs to shut down a game.
Josh Nisbet will likely be in the Socceroos playing list for the World Cup as a differential option or injury cover and his versatility in terms of being able to both protect and chase leads in midfield means that he can be paired with either tactical option in Robertson or Devlin from the bench.Or Nisbet to do both, but we won't see him.
Agree, I'd definitely have him in the squad.Doesn't look good either if he is on crutches...
Such a shame, I really rate Yazbek.
Hopefully it ensures Robertson gets picked..... and definitely not Caceras or BrattenWow such bad luck
Looking more and more likely for Matthew Leckie.
I had to double check Bratten wasn't one of the few that was already over there.... you gave me a mini heart attackHopefully it ensures Robertson gets picked..... and definitely not Caceras or Bratten
I wouldn't have taken O'Neil anway. Cant defend or attack. Balard all the way for meFor arguments sake, if both OāNeill and Yazbek both donāt recover in-time, who are you starting next to Irvine at the World Cup? Robertson, Okon, Balard, Leckie etc
it feels like itāll be Leckie based off Popaās sentiment in the interview but thereās a real lack of forward ball progression between Leckie and Irvine.
Iād prefer Robertson
