Pathetic play acting by the Swansea pussy and really bad decision by the ref, but if I’m the coach of the USA, Paraguay or Turkey (or other), I know exactly what I’m instructing my team to do.

If Irankunda gets this wound up in the Championship imagine what South Americans or Turks will be able to do.

Popovic just needs to get inside his head. If their fouling you they a scared of you. The plan is working - just get up and laugh at them - piss them off more. If he does that against against Richards, then Richards will be the one sent. The US are very vulnerable against quick breaking teams, Richards is slow to turn and Ream is 38. That describes, Paraguay, Turkey and if Popovic picks the right team (he's being slowly moving towards it - and I think he is playing it cagey at the moment not revealing it all) it will be Australia. The front six (starters and finishers) need to be quick, able to dribble, comfortable across the front line and prepared to roam and also defend from the front.

Richards will get a red in the group games, he hates getting turned and these three teams will test his patience big time.

Antonio Arena not in the Primavera 1 squad for Roma U20 v Lecce U20. As far as I am aware, he is not injured so maybe he has been training with the Senior team with a view to being on the bench for their next match on Wednesday morning, Australian time.
 
Javi Gracia has left Watford after a meeting with the board today. It's understood he has resigned. Sky Sports News understands Gracia is saying his goodbyes to the players this afternoon.
