i get what you saying, but I'd argue at least some of it is a chicken and egg problem

its hard to play attractive football at international level without better players and its hard to get better players until our team has more prestige (which in turn requires better players)
Take your point, but I would argue that the primary responsibility for the awful football our national team currently plays is the coach, who consistently has the team playing as less than the sum of its parts.

Look I know Popa's methods are not attractive but neither was Arnie's.However Arnie's team got to R16 and came within a goalie's desperate hand from forcing the team who won the WC into extra time.So if Popa's boys can emulate or surpass that effort I will be more than happy.
However whoever is the next NT coach should play a more attractive style as we now are producing players with much improved technical qualities.Evidently the Chinese coach at this present U23 Asian Cup said that Japan and Australia had the best technical abilities at that tournament.

Mabil scores. He and Brook are in handy form but needn't be considered. I wouldn't be so worried if they came in during an injury crisis. Bit like Jack Iredale.

Perhaps UK vpn needed. Such nicely taken strike. The abuse he copped when he always had it but was fighting injury and fitness. So happy for him. Got to remember yow seamless he made it look for the Mariners and the spatial awareness is an asset in the Championship.
