Aussies abroad 🌍🦘

Also we have another EFL fest on today. Can Watford make it five wins in a row and eight games unbeaten? Will Middlesbrough return to winning ways after going four games without a win and suffering back to back losses?

We also have an Aussie derby ahead as Massimo Luongo's Millwall face Cam Burgess' Swansea City in a crucial match for the Lions who have slipped just outside the playoffs on goal difference and the Swans lurking down in 16th place.

St Pauli have a practice game today against Bremen in German Sky sports news channel. Hadn't occurred to me they resume next week which is really early but they want to get players rested before the world cup. It's been snowing a lot but you'd think they're prepared.

Will be interesring to see if leonard gets game time next week. Would be very difficult you would imagine
Schalke have been flying and they're going to go up I think. It's best be get loaned out but the club will hopefully consider him for the next years.

Unfortunately they'll just end up buying someone else with experience or runs on the board and he'll either away. It's a Gauci case I fear.

With solid reserve team showings he may sneak onto the bench and hopefully the manager has big faith in him under this tenure. New manager within two years is inevitable at Schalke so it'll all change again.

Luongo is out for the season isn't he? One headache fewer for Popovic but another I wish to see playing for Australia one last time. If Popovic is going to pass it around, at least have those capable and creative and also will go against the script and go forward at times.

Luongo is the biggest what if under Popovic. Didn't pick him when he could and should. Now no chance with the injury. He should have been starting.

Yeah acl

Yeah it really is no where near as cold here compared to North America
Fun fact: in winter, New York (which is on the same latitude as Madrid and Naples) is colder and snowier than Hobart, London and Stockholm. However, in summer, New York is hotter than all three. Furthermore, of those four cities, Hobart actually has the coldest summers.

Completely forgot about that my bad.

Pitch inspection at Fratton Park. Fark off.

Been really cold but I don't think much snow in UK so it's hardening of the pitch.
Snow in Portsmouth itself would be unusual given it's by the sea (similar to Hobart which as I mentioned gets quite cold but mostly snows in the outer suburbs). However, it is possible as snow fell there in 2013 and 2018.
