DPC will stay and be extended to 2030. Redmayne will be teaching at the Sports College come July. DPC will probably play a season before heading OS. Wth Maty doing a Danny Vukovic for the last couple seasons when DPC departs.
That makes the decision to play redmayne for a season more baffli g

The gap between them must be virtually non existent already, but he would fetch a much bigger transfer fee if he has 3 straight seasons under his belt

The game for a development league is very much to make these tradeoffs because extra transfer revenue means you can have better players in other positions

Though im not sure how all this is supposed ti work with a hard salary cap

Harry Souttar still out with injury and not in the matchday squad altogether for Leicester City in their Championship game against Sheffield United.

Irankunda driving deep from midfield and nearly getting an assist again. The commentary on Watford TV are waxing lyrical about him.

Achilles is a tricky thing but that's a bloody deep injury. It's the nature of both injuries but both clubs have been especially cautious. I suppose an Xmas injury gives you 8 weeks over summer before the season rolls around so its a 9 month thing really.

Callum Elder yellow carded in the 59th minute of Derby County's Championship game against Middlesbrough, which is still scoreless in the second half.

The problem is/was the backline. Mauragis is good going forward - a bit iffy in defence, Paull has improved but is often not the one stepping up in defence. Sainsbury has his sick note. Donachie came late and Roux is slowing up. I think Redmayne was really preferred to not shatter the confidence with a leaky defence. That said - Redders is probably playing better under Vuka than he has for a couple of seasons.

With ownership changes things were very quiet in the window. I think they are targeting the attack in this window - albeit with more youngsters but the winter window needs to strengthen the defence.

Derby lead Boro. They're bloody collapsing and they new McGree was key but I didn't think it'd hit them that hard.

Typical Mariners dip and time to rebuild. I like they're playing a lot of young players who'll be sound soon enough. Was thinking about the title winning teams and the names you read it was just an amazing bunch who've gone on to bigger things or were in their excellent peak at that stage.

No AA but heaps of tweets about loan recalls and extensions across the EFL. Gauci may just hang around but Villa probably aren't pleased. You could honestly send him to Shrewsbury for the next 6 months. Hollman must go elsewhere. The absolute weirdest. He needs a suited and booted interview and the manager needs to be asked what on earth happened there.

They already are after 2 years of stripping - all these guys 22 or younger. All except Ajanovic will see or have seen match day squads and most will get game time this season

Silvera on for Brittan who's injured
I read Brattan there. German TV the other day my partner asked me if I knew this bloke, I said it was either the Bondi vet or Luke Brattan. It was the first German Bachelor contestant. Spitting image.

Matthews dived to get an intercept and now getting treatment

Looks like just an awkward landing

Needs to stay fit coz there is a window of opportunity for him
He has improved the defense since coming on

Matthews up the tunnel but walking pretty freely

Frustrating has to be right by next match
