The League One loan was to get him exposure to the game there. He's played plenty and now the club is panicking about relegation so lots of switching.

He'd be fine to move to a league on the continent and play regularly.

For me if you end up having to play a bunch of 17 year olds then that's how it is. Not sure but some countries need players to be registered as pros or eligible to play in the league so quick promotion may not be possible.
