It really comes back to the managers utilising him properly. He is primarily put down as a LW. He is better deployed on the left even though he is truly two-footed. In reality Monty and his u21 manager at Newcastle (now assistant at Sparta) played him properly and the assistant seems to be having some affect on the main manager.

As Monty said he is a CF playing as RW. He needs to be free to roam and play almost as an inside right (or inside left or CF). A front three of Irankunda, Toure and Kuol, all quick, all free to swap positions with Irvine making late runs into the back would scare a lot of teams, including the US with Robinson being so one-footed, slow to turn and a temper. Just tell Irankunda if he is getting hacked that is part of the plan.
He has also bulked up which is a bonus but more importantly after Newcastle, Hearts, etc. he realises that there aren't going to be too many more chances in Europe. Irankunda also has head issues.

Disagree - the Newcastle U21 manager used him properly - the first one since Monty. While nominally a RW he played at CCM and Newcastle U21 and now at Sparta as almost an inside right. His xG centrally is what makes him dangerous - played wide that is wasted.

looking at hrustics heatmaps it looks like he has played a variety of roles in midfield despite being always listed as a cdm
I think I may have have only chanced on one or two Heracles streams all season, on those occasions at least Hrustic did join attacks from deep.

yeah some heatmaps look like a central mid, some like a cdm, some like a wide attacking mid

I think Hrustic is quite versatile in that he can play as a central or attacking midfielder in addition to his primary position as a defensive midfielder, but given his recent goalscoring form Poppa would likely play him as either an attacking midfielder or false nine.

Peupion on at half time
Own goal burgess, does that count towarda the golden boot

Should do. He's got a few now. If we can put him in a USA shirt then we're on a winner.
He has had a few for us too

A good defender but probably a weakness in a back 3 of circati souttar and burgess
