Can imagine the family were 'you'll be playing for Turkey should they call.'

People will think this is fair enough but this is no different to our UK born players ending up in Australian shirt that they equally criticise.
 
Gulasi is locally developed. You've got to wonder how the scouting and networking happened. The Turkish FA are massive on German born players, naturally. They must have a network because being at Macarthur and then so quickly to Schalke and Turkey sides speaks volumes.

I don't think Stama's form has been good enough this season. Sapsford should be in the mix. For me, I'd also consider selecting and playing Velupillay as one of the strikers even though not his natural position for his club afaik. It's a gamble but it could work in Popas system given how deep he has them sitting. However, I think Popa will probably end up going with Toure and Duke.

Just froze for a sec that Google had him as 31! He's 26.

He's been in and out this season and I think his goals have mostly been penalties.

We're just stuck with Popovic's system so any wishful thinking won't happen.

Velupillay did great and Sapsford is a bit like Duke with his drive.

Edwards surely won't bring McGree to Wolves, will he? Wolves going down anyway and they'll throw a lot of money to the continent to try and stay up.
